| Many of the materials exhibited on this site are available online, free of charge, in a PDF or medium-resolution JPEG format (1000 pixels wide or tall, depending on the orientation of the photo) suitable for printing. These files are accessible through links on the materials' pages. This is done is to provide readily accessible copies of photos, posters, designs and other materials to interested parties for personal use.
Though they are made available freely on this site, they may not be used for any purpose. Permission for republication of these images is granted for personal use only (for instance, sharing copies with a few friends). Republication in (non-commercial) school reports and projects is also permitted. Free redistribution, in a zine or in poster form, is also freely permitted. However, permission is explicitly denied for mass-produced commercial republication of text, graphics or photographs in this site without the express written consent of its creator, . This includes publishing in print and on the internet. Permission to link to this site from your web page is freely given, so long as no substantial parts of this site are duplicated in your site. Each of the downloadable photographic images in this site have been digitally "watermarked" using Digimarc software. The watermark is invisible to the eye but readable by computer, even in print forms or when the image is used in a collage. In addition, Digimarc's software constantly searches images on the internet and informs rightful owners in the event of a possible copyright infringement. If you have any questions about these guidelines, or would like to make a republication request, feel free to contact Jim Webb or by phone, at (202) 265-8630. Thanks. |
